Turquoise Mesa Vineyards 2008 Colorado Crimson
The name Colorado Crimson doesn’t really tell you much about this wine, but if you know anything about Tom Bueb, the Turquoise Mesa Vineyards winemaker, you’ll know it’s right up his alley. He likes his Rhone wines.
Sutcliffe Vineyards 2009 Cinsaut
Cinsaut (or cinsault) is a grape that has thrived in the Languedoc region of France for centuries. Sutcliffe Vineyards is one of the few Colorado wineries to notice it may also thrive along the Western Slope.

Sutcliffe Vineyards 2008 Trawsfynydd
Those who call northern Wales home will think of Trawsfynydd as a village. Those who call Colorado home will scratch their heads in wonder as they try to pronounce the name on the label of a rich red wine blend from Sutcliffe Vineyards.
Terror Creek Winery 2006 Pinot Noir
We’ve been loving many of the wines to come out of the West Elks AVA recently, mainly because they have a consistent style among the three grapes
The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey Sangre de Cristo Nouveau
Sometimes you wonder the motivation behind certain bottles showing up at your doorstep.
Bonacquisti Wine Co. 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon
Members of the Bonacquisti Wine Co. wine club will remember a clever packaging during their December 2010 shipment. It included a his and hers Cabernet.
Garfield Estates Vineyard 2009 Syrah
It’s been a little while since we’ve gotten our hands on a Garfield Estates selection. The 2009 Syrah reminded us not to take so damn long before we try another.
Mesa Park Vineyards 2006 Merlot
It’s easy to enjoy the 2006 Mesa Park Vineyards Merlot. It’s just a nice, easy-going Merlot that has spent the last five years in barrel and bottle, mellowing out to an everyday drinking wine.
